Useful software
All software listed beneath is freeware: the programmes can be downloaded for free and can be used for unlimited time, unless indicated otherwise. The operating systems for which downloads are available are indicated behind the programme name.

Specific programme for creating icons. It allows you to add your own favicon to the site.

With this programme you have a nice instrument on your screen to take measures of images or other objects.
HTML Editing
AceHTML Freeware (Windows)
Semi-professional HTML editor. No longer available from the makers, Visicom Media, but the programme can still easily be found on the internet through search machines.

HTML Editor with the ability to display pages in code ánd WYSIWYG in synchronised view. Valuable time saver when dealing with large files and looking for a particular piece of information.
Testing and analysing

Very useful programme for testing your site in various screen resolutions and for analysing the structure of your webpages. It only works in interaction with Internet Explorer.
