Structure of the site

When developing a site, it matters to utilize the specific qualities the web.

By using navigation buttons and by adding hyperlinks you can steer visitors to the demanded information extremely swiftly. But as the size of the site grows, you may obtain the opposite if you do not have a clear structure.

A clear structure includes, amongst others, the following features:
  • Buttons shall navigate visitors to predictable locations.

  • Visitors shall continuously know their current location at the site.

  • Visitors shall not be burdened by superfluous information at locations where such information is not needed.

QwikZite has two features to help you on: the appliance of multiple button sets and the appliance of multiple sitestyles, to distinct parts of the site.
The potentialities of these features is dealt with in the pages:Both pages contain an easy explanation of making a simple website. As well, they cover the ins and outs of developing a more complex website
