Menu 'Link'


In short

  • Functions


  • In the 'Link' menu, a list of hyperlinks can be added to complete the information in the body content of the webpage.

    You can show the hyperlinks on all pages or link them up with specific pages.
    A description can be added, and a default option is present for adding a small image such as a logo.

  • Frontend


  • The list of hyperlinks is displayed in the LINK AREA at the bottom of the webpage.

    The linked locations will be opened in a new browser screen, so visitors will not unintentionally leave your site.




    Points for attention

  • Inserting hand-made hyperlinks in text


  • The 'Link' menu only provides in adding hyperlinks in the LINK AREA.

    Explanatory notes to the input fields
    ID:The ID (identification number of the link) is automatically generated.
    Working title:The working title is not visible at the frontend, but is an important tool. At the frontend the links are listed in alphabetic order of working title.
    Title:This text is displayed at the frontend.

    The title will automatically become a hyperlink to the URL beneath.
    URL:Enter the URL to which the title shall refer, including:
    • http:// in case of a web location, e.g. http://www.qwikzite.com
    • mailto: in case of an email address, e.g. mailto:info@qwikzite.com
    The URL is not displayed in textual form at the frontend.
    Text:This text is displayed at the frontend beneath the link title.
    Image:If you wish, you can add a logo or other image here.
    This image is displayed at the frontend left from link title and text, proportionally resized to a width of 100 pixels.

    It is advised not to enter an image with a width less than 100 pixels.

    Visible on website:By activating or inactivating this checkbox, you can make the link visible or unvisible at the frontend.
    Visible on ALL pages:By activating this checkbox, the page selection beneath will be overrided and the link will be visible on all pages at the frontend.
    Belongs to page:If you only wish to display the link on specific pages, you can check here the pages concerned.
    It is possible to make multiple entries.
