Menu 'File'

In short

  • Function

  • Through the 'File' menu, downloadable files can be added to the 'File' table: documents and other files that visitors of the site can download.

In a first step, the files are uploaded at the backend through this 'File' menu. They are stored in the QwikZite database with a unique ID number.

In a second step, so-called HTML code, refering to the file ID, is included in the text at the backend to make the reference visible at the frontend.
In any field at the backend where you have the opportunity for text-input, you can insert such HTML code.

The maximum permitted size of a downloadable file is 10 MB.

  • Frontend

  • At any place in QwikZite texts, references to downloadable files can be displayed.

    Points for attention

  • Inserting references to downloadable files with HTML

  • For examples and further information about using HTML, see: Working with HTML.
